THE NEPHILIM WAR
the series Long ago, in a time the world has forgotten, across the northern lands of Africa, a war raged between the Shilesian warriors of earth and fallen angels known to man as the Nephilim. Through the sorcery of the wizard Myrddin, the Nephilim were defeated and sent beyond the earthly realm to Hir na Gog, never again to step foot into the earthly realm…or were they? I was summoned from my own prison beneath earth when the fallen angel, Azriel, escaped his prison. Angry at his millennia of imprisonment in the outer darkness of Dudael, Azriel has determined to avenge himself by waging war against humans. He's already completed the first step in his plan, breaking free of his bonds, now he's sets his sights on freeing the Nephilim and convincing them to join him in war. A war they never had the opportunity to finish. There's only one thing standing between Azriel and the destruction of the human race. No being can travel to Hir na Gog that is not Nephilim and the Nephilim cannot travel to earth. To accomplish his task Azriel must find someone who can do both... With the aid of six powerful allies, I will prevent Azriel from succeeding. Raven CREATURES: Watchers - Fallen angels who left the heavens to consort with human females. They are the progenitors of vampires and beastmen. Vampires - Immortal blood drinkers Beastmen - Immortal changelings that are capable of taking on the form of animals. Rogues - Vampires and Beastmen who refuse to swear allegiance to The Alliance. Nor do they value human life, one of the main precepts of The Alliance. They take human life at will. Because of this, they are hunted by Ikarius. Nephilim - Fallen angels who were cast from the heavens after the great war between God and Lucifer. They are the progenitors of the imps and ghouls. Imps - Immortal creatures that were trapped in The Void during the war of the immortals. Ghouls - Immortal demonic beings that were forced to dwell in underground caverns after the war of the immortals. ASSOCIATIONS: The Alliance - A vampire and beastman cooperative led by Alaric the Vampire, formerly knows as Alaric the Cruel. Ikarius - Immortal ancestors of the ancient Shilesian cursed with the responsibility of overseeing the activities of vampires and beastmen. They've also been given the task of guarding the seven portals to The Void. PLAYERS: Azriel: The most powerful of all the Watchers. The father of magic, Azriel is a deadly adversary. He controls the ghouls and imps and will use them in his war against mankind. With his fair hair and angelic features, Azriel is the most beautiful of all the Watchers...and he's more than capable of using his beauty to his advantage. Raven: The sexy, raven haired Watcher charged with the duty of capturing Azriel. Raven initially refuses his task. He and Azriel were once friends and he knows hunting Azriel will sever any connection they ever shared. His dedication to his task strengthens, however, when he meets Charity, the beautiful human Azriel is stalking. Though Raven has been forbidden from consorting with human females, he finds his immediate attraction to Charity difficult to overcome. Charity: The last human Nephilim on earth. Formerly a bank clerk, Charity finds her life changed in ways she's never imagined when her wedding is crashed by two of the sexiest, scantily clad men she's ever seen. Too bad neither is human. Myrddin: A powerful sorcerer who comes to Raven's aid. Aliceanna: A powerful witch who studies under Myrddin. Alaric the Cruel: The beautiful vampire Coven Lord of The Alliance who developed a reputation for cruelty while a Visigoth mortal. He places himself at Raven's side despite the fact that he's haunted by the memory of a love he lost long ago. Damon: Alaric's faithful assistant who refuses to leave Alaric's side. Al-Kenna: The immortal reincarnation of Alaric's lost lover, Smenkhare. Born of Galen, the Warlord of Ikarius, Al-Kenna strives to become an Ikari Warrior.
